Patricia "Pat" Ann Lewis

Patricia Ann Lewis, 82, of Chariton, Iowa, passed away on December 7, 2025. She was born on

February 5, 1943, in Clarence, Iowa, to John and Viola (Goldsmith) Kreinbring.

Patricia grew up in eastern Iowa with her brothers, Merlin and Ronnie. She married Herbert Wenndt Jr.,

and together they had three children: Darrin (Sharon) Wenndt, Dana (Steve) Burham, and Doug Wenndt.

She later married Larry Lewis, and the two made their home in Chariton.

Patricia had a lifelong love of cats and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, enjoying his music throughout

her life.

She is survived by her three children; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and her first

husband, Herbert Wenndt Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Merlin and Ronnie; and her later husband, Larry Lewis.
